The curator of Against All Odds project approached Cambo during the pre-launch period of its first major event, the first International Conference AAO project: Ethics / Aesthetics. The AAO project wanted to create awareness in the online space and promote a seven-month span of architectural, art and design events and activities through various social media channels.
OUR ROLE
Cambo Industries was responsible for the establishment of an online presence for the AAO project in the field of social media.
CHALLENGE
Develop a communication link between the AAO project and its audience through the social media platform, and create a steady buzz about the upcoming events.
SOLUTION
In collaboration with Lina Stergiou (concept, curator at large of AAO project) and This is Amateur, Cambo developed and deployed the social media channels and launched the official site of the Against All Odds project. From the opening of the first International Conference, through the various happenings and interventions around Athens and the final Conference and Exhibition in June of 2011, Cambo offered a continuous flow of information and updates through Twitter, Facebook, and the official website of the AAO project. Highlights included live tweets during the conference and analytic write-ups on the participators in the two conferences and the main exhibition in June.
