Olympic Air wanted to drive traffic to its Destination Guide, found in the official site of the airline, through a fun & educational Facebook game.

Cambo developed and designed the Olympic Air Traveler Genius Facebook application.
CHALLENGE
To create an entertaining and engaging Facebook game, increase Facebook “Likes” and draw users to Olympic Air’s website destination guide.
SOLUTION
Cambo designed a quiz with challenging questions based on Olympic Air’s Destination Guide section, located in the official website of the airline. Initiating from the middle of July and running for eight consecutive weeks, the game posed three different questions each week, concerning information about the airline’s destinations. Users can freely jump to the Destination Guide via a link in the app to search for the answers. Bonus points are given to the users that answer every question correctly, while extra points are added to the user’s total score if he invites some of his friends to take the quiz or participates in the game for three consecutive weeks. User scores account for draw participations and every week, one lucky user wins a free ticket for all the destinations covered by Olympic Air’s network. A draw at the end of the promotion, using the accumulative user scores, declared a big winner which received the prize of 50.000 air miles. Since it’s beginning, the Olympic Traveler Genius quiz brought in significant traffic spike in Olympic Air’s Destination Guide as well as a major increase of fans in the airline’s Facebook page.
